The surface of the cement surface layer (or base layer) should be hard, flat, smooth, dry, free of pits, pitted surfaces, or cracks, and should be cleaned of oil, nail heads and other protrusions.

Sponge padding should be fully spread and level, and there should be no exposed lining at the carpet joints.

Fixed carpet laying should meet the following requirements:

The laying of the carpet should be properly stretched, and the surrounding clips should be fixed firmly; the doorway should be fixed with metal beading, etc.;

The edge of the carpet should be inserted into the seam between the card strip and the skirting line;

Adhesives should be applied to the carpet to stick firmly to the base layer.

The laying of movable carpets shall meet the following requirements:

Put the carpet into a whole piece and spread it directly on the clean floor. The periphery of the carpet should be tucked under the corner line;

The connection with the building ground of different materials should be closed according to the design requirements;

Lay small square carpets, squeeze between the blocks tightly. When laying carpets on stairs, the top carpet of each step should be fixed on the platform with layering strips, and clip strips should be used to fix the inside corners of each step.

The variety, specification, color, pattern, rubber and paving material and material of the carpet must meet the design requirements and the regulations of the current national carpet product standards.

The surface of the carpet should be flat, and the joints should be adhered firmly, tightly and smoothly, and the patterns should be consistent.
