Under the condition that the structure and composition of the general carpet tufting machine are basically unchanged, add a long balance shaft with uniform quality and shaft diameter equivalent to the main shaft, and establish the structural connection between the main shaft and the balance shaft through a pair of helical gear meshing transmission , Thus forming a new type of spindle system design.

The plan is shown in Figure 2. Among them, the end face pressure angle of the gear is 20.94°, and the transmission ratio is 1:1. Compared with the general spindle system, the spindle system adopting the balance shaft has the following characteristics:

(1) The balance shaft shares the unbalanced force of the main shaft, thereby reducing the deformation of the main shaft.

(2) In the vertical direction, the unbalanced inertial force generated by the eccentric weight on the main shaft and the balance shaft is superimposed on each other, which can offset the unbalanced inertial force generated by the needle linkage mechanism and the rocker slider mechanism; in the horizontal direction, the main shaft and the The unbalanced inertial forces generated by the eccentric weight on the balance shaft cancel each other out.
