According to the design experience of actual tufting machine and various specifications of tufting machine. The specific structure design of the spindle system found that when the spindle rotates once, the connecting rod 18 and the rocker 19 rotate at an angle of 1°~2° and 3°~4°, the swing amplitude is small, therefore, the impact of the connecting rod 18 and the rocking rod 19 on the main shaft is very small, which can be ignored when modeling the main shaft system.

According to the principle of conservation of kinetic energy, the needle linkage mechanism is simplified into two equivalent roulettes and elastic connections. Among them: the elastic connection is the function of transmitting force between the main shaft and the slave shaft, and the rocker slider mechanism and the hook linkage mechanism are simplified as For the equivalent roulette, the belt pulley is simplified to an equivalent roulette, the bearing is simplified to elastic support, the main shaft and the slave shaft are simplified to massless shaft sections, and the mass of the shaft is discrete at the set nodes. Therefore, the simplified spindle system includes the equivalent roulette, elastic supports, nodes, massless shaft segments and elastic connections. From this, the lumped parameter model of the carpet tufting machine spindle system is shown in Figure 4. In order to facilitate the calculation, add dummy elements with zero mass and length to the leftmost and rightmost ends of the needle slave shaft to keep it safe.
